Dissemination of carbapenem resistant KP due to over expression of the chromosomic encoded SHV-1

Collection of K. pneumoniae strains with high levels of resistance to b-lactam antibiotics, including carbapenems, caused by duplication of the chromosomal SHV-1 gene.
