A small protein encoded by a putative long noncoding RNA inhibits proliferation and tumorigenicity in human colorectal cancer cells [ChIP-Seq]

This study on the initial characterization of FORCP demonstrates that FORCP is a novel, conserved small protein encoded by a mis-annotated lncRNA that regulates apoptosis and tumorigenicity in well-differentiated colorectal cancer cells. A total of four colon epithelial cell lines were sequenced for comparison of FORCP expression.
