Short-read remapping data from 1126 cattle

This dataset underpins work reported as part of the manuscript 'Structural and epistatic regulatory mutations cause hallmark white spotting in cattle', comprising bam files generated as part of a large remapping exercise based on sequence from 1126 cattle. New genomes alignments were produced by integrating a novel ~6.9kbp structural allele otherwise missing from the ARS-UCD1.2 genome, and remapping whole genome data from 1126 cattle to this reference. Uploaded data represent the 30Mbp of chr6 subsequently used for downstream analyses, including imputation and association analysis. Given SRA's submission rules, uploaded files have been submitted as two batches numbering 1000 and 126 animals respectively.
