Alcohol Consumption Survey, 1977

The material for the survey forms part of the Danish Omnibus Survey, January 1977, which was carried out by the Danish National Institute of Social Research. The purpose of the survey was to obtain information about the distribution of alcohol consumption on various groups of the Danish population. The distribution of alcohol consumption was to be examined according to certain criteria such as sex, age, occupation, financial situation and degree of urbanization. The subject of the survey was the distribution of normal alcohol consumption, normal as regards time of consumption, what is drunk and how much; thus, the survey does not concern itself with any of the problems which may arise in connection with alcohol consumption
