Replication Data for: Comparing geometry and mechanical performance of as built and Hirtisation® treated aluminium alloy Al-Cu-Mg-Ag-Ti-B-Si-Fe rhombic dodecahedron lattice structures produced by laser powder bed fusion

This dataset contains data on the study of morphological, geometrical and mechanical properties of lattice structures manufactured from Al-Cu-Mg-Ag-Ti-B-Si-Fe aluminum alloy using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF). It includes data from as built (AB) and Hirtisation treated (HIRT) samples. The dataset contains information about measurements of the geometrical characteristics , quasi-static and fatigue data, relative lattice density data and matlab scripts for the Gibson-Ashby formula calculation. The morphological measurements were performed with optical, tactile microscopy and micro-CT. Statisitical analyses are also included. This dataset enables replication of key results, supports further analysis of L-PBF lattices, and provides a benchmark for future studies on surface treatments and mechanical performance in additively manufactured metals.
