Impact of Fructooligosaccharides on Gut Microbiota and Microbial Metabolites in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus: An In Vitro Fermentation Model Study

This study investigates the impact of fructooligosaccharides on gut microbiota and microbial metabolites in gestational diabetes mellitus. Gut microbiota from individuals with poor dietary habits associated with gestational diabetes were subjected to in vitro fermentation with or without fructooligosaccharides supplementation, and the microbial community, short-chain fatty acids production, and gas generation were analyzed.
