Compositions and methods for providing pesticidal activity to bacteria， plants， plant cells， tissues and seeds. Compositions containing the coding sequence for the delta-endotoxin polypeptide are provided. This coding sequence can be used in DNA constructs or expression cassettes for transformation and expression in plants and bacteria. The compositions also contain transformed bacteria， plants， plant cells， tissues and seeds. In particular， highlighted are offered delta-endotoxin nucleic acid molecules. In addition， covered amino acid sequences corresponding to such polynucleotides， and antibodies， which specifically bind to these amino acid sequences. In particular， the present invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules containing nucleotide sequences encoding the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID no: 61-121 and 133-141， or nucleotide the sequence shown in SEQ ID No: 1-60， 124-132 and 142-283， as well as variants and fragments thereof.
