This record contains the source data and analysis code associated with the manuscript “Transitions between persistent climate–carbon regimes coincide with elevated Phanerozoic biosphere vulnerability.” The Source Data workbook provides figure-level and raw numerical data for the main and supplementary display items, including stable-isotope proxy data, temperature and pCO2 reconstructions, vulnerability time series, geological-time and event layers, early-warning-signal intervals, recurrence matrices, model outputs, and associated data-source references. Supplementary Table 2 is provided as a separate file within the same Zenodo record. The code packages contain scripts and documentation for the early-warning-signal analyses, recurrence diagnostics, plotting workflows, and conceptual climate–carbon model. These materials support reproducibility of the analyses reported in the manuscript and provide first-time users with documentation for locating the relevant data, code, and expected outputs.
