SARS-COV-2 Whole Genomic Sequences from KKCTH, Chennai, India

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the SARS-CoV-2 whole genomic sequences obtained from KKCTH (Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital) Chennai, India. By sequencing the complete COVID-19 viral genomes, researchers aimed to unravel the genetic diversity and evolutionary dynamics of paediatric SARS-CoV-2 sequences and comparative studies against the adult SARS-CoV-2 sequences circulating in this region. These findings shed light on the molecular characteristics of the virus and contribute to our understanding of its transmission patterns, potential variants, and implications for public health interventions in and around Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
