The water depth and temperature data was collected using two dozen different ships through a grant to Dr. Douglas C. Biggs MMS # 14-35-0001-30501. The data was collected by Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center (FNOC), Monterey, CA from May 1985 to March 1990. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) and CTD data was submitted in three diskettes by Paul Stevens. The data has been processed and is now available on line in C116 Bathythermograph XBT file format of NODC.
