To investigate the molecular and physiological functions of SWAP1 in light signaling. We show that SWAP1 modulates global gene expression and alternative splicing both under dark and red light treated conditions 4-day-old dark grown seedlings were either exposed to the continuous red light for 3 hrs or kept in the dark. Total RNA (rRNA depleted) was extracted and used for the RNAseq library preparation. Libraries were sequence using Illumina NovaSeq 6000. Reads were aligned using STAR and then analysed using HTseq, DESeq2 and ASpli 2.0. RT-qPCR validation was performed using SYBR green assays
