In 2023, the total production of large estates for crude palm oil in Indonesia was around 30.68 million metric tons. Indonesia is the world's largest palm oil and cloves producer and one of the world's leading producers of natural rubber, coconut oil, and also cocoa. Despite the large production of large estates, smaller estate companies account for the majority of the total planted area of these crops in Indonesia.
