Homo sapiens Transcriptome or Gene expression

A plasma microRNA sequencing project containing 20 individuals was done recently. 20 individuals were divided into two groups, acute myocardial infarction group (n=10) and healthy control group (n=10). The acute myocardial infarction group was further subdivided into two pathological subgroups, STEMI (n=5) and NSTEMI (n=5) subgroups. Plasma was separated from venous blood of each individual and then small RNA from each plasma sample was extracted and then subjected to library-construction and high-throughput sequencing by using NGS technology, respectively.
