Functional traits' annual variation

Data and code to replicate figures and analysis for Wheeler, Brassil and Knops: Functional traits’ annual variation exceeds nitrogen-driven variation in grassland plant species (Ecology). traitdata.csv contains the data used by all other files. CPTraitAnalysis contains code for the primary mixed model analysis, including both the multivariate analysis and the single trait models. CPTraitFigures contains code for Figure 1, showing trait responses both as modeled results and as species level raw data. Combined Modeled Figure contains code for Figure 2, showing modeled responsed only. TraitPCAFigures contains code for Figure 3's PCA visualization. FGTraitFigures contains the code for the functional group based analysis and figures in appendix S1.
