WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from SEA-LAND DEFENDER, NOAA Ship DELAWARE II and other platforms from 1989-01-05 to 1991-09-19 (NCEI Accession 9100218)

This accession contains data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program. The cruises were conducted using many different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between January 5, 1989 and September 19, 1991. The data containing 2,458 observations were sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data is currently available in the C116 file format of NODC.
