Lab 5 - Field experiment

This experiment was conducted at the Danby grassland at York University.

A quadrat was randomly placed at the edge of the grassland where milkweeds were observed. The height of each milkweed in the quadrat was recorded using a transect as a ruler. The number of milkweeds in the quadrat was recorded as density. The sample size was 20 quadrats. This process was repeated for milkweed found in the middle of the grassland. Then, the average heights of milkweed in each quadrat was calculated for both locations.
