Genomic comparison between stock and locally produced CHIM samples

The study goals are (i)to determine the homology between the LSTM stock strain and the locally produced one (ii)to determine if any the genetic diversity between the stock strain and the locally produced one focusing on SNPs,indels and genomic re-arrangements.Through this study we are promoting a position that says:(i)Scientists can make safe, GMP-like materials in their lab for CHIM studies.(ii)Such scientists should have a clear, transparent and rigorous QA/QC process and SOP (iii)Malawi is not an exception, and is in fact a world leader.
