The proposed system for detecting unwanted entities in a pre-defined map consists of initially building the map itself. This map is an occupancy grid map generated by the ROS package gmapping, which is a wrapper that runs the OpenSLAM GMapping algorithm of Grisetti et al. in the ROS ecosystem.
