This series was created by the Pound-keeper of the Creswick Borough Council to record details of cattle slaughtered. Information recorded includes the date, locality, name of butcher, particulars of cattle, reason for slaughter, name of the owner, from whom purchased and remarks. This series was transferred to PROV by the University of Melbourne Archives which originally received it as part of the E.J. Semmens Collection.
