Exchange Rate Data for Ghana

The data set includes daily closing foreign-exchange rates of Ghana Cedi to US Dollar (GHS/USD), Ghana Cedi to European Euro (GHS/EUR), Ghana Cedi to Nigerian Naira (GHS/NGN), Ghana Cedi to West African CFA franc (GHS/XOF), Ghana Cedi to Zambian Kwacha (GHS/ZMW) and Ghana Cedi to Congolese franc (GHS/CDF).The span from 11 July 2007 to 31 December 2021 except for the GHS/ZMW and GHS/CDF which ranges from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2021 and 1 April 2010 to 31 December 2021 respectively. This date period was chosen because it corresponds to the introduction of the new Ghana Cedi by the Bank of Ghana, in July 2007. The Data was obtained from Google finance.
