资源简介:

Fusobacterium nucleatum is a Gram-negative anaerobic bacterium commonly found in the human oral cavity and is associated with various oral diseases. When it disseminates to extraoral sites, it has been implicated in several systemic conditions, including preterm birth and colorectal cancer. F. nucleatum exhibits substantial genetic and phenotypic diversity and is currently divided into four subspecies. Strain 4_1_13 belongs to Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. vincentii . This strain is a clinical isolate recovered from the gastrointestinal tract by the group of Dr. Emma Allen-Vercoe at the University of Guelph. The strain was obtained from Dr. Daniel Slade at Virginia Tech and is currently maintained in the Wu laboratory at UTHealth.
