收藏资源简介:
Diwan of Shahi (RAS Persian 365) Nasta'liq. 12 lines on a page in 2 columns. Incipit: Biya ay az khatt-i sabzat hazaran dagh bar dil-ha (Differs from those of the MSS noted by Rieu and Ethe.) The MS was once in the Mughal Library; a number of the typical notes found on such books are found on f1a, together with five impressions of seals, largely illegible, but two of which are clearly of Shah Jahan's officials. Another of Urdibihisht, the year illegible records transfer from? Fathallah the Sahibjam' for pishkash - presents.) Bound in before the original first flyleaf is an account, apparently for carpentry work, dated 12 Muharram. English brown leather tooled binding with marbled doublures. Headings in red and gold. Ruled margins and dividing panels. Illuminated panel over beginning of text with inscription: Diwan-i Mir Shahi, rahmat Allah 'alaihi. Presented by Robert Scott Greenshields in 1932.
