School Engagement Data

The dataset consists of questionnaire-based survey data collected from junior middle school students in Xiangyang,Hubei province,China。A total of 938 respondents participated in the study, among which 50.32 % were male and 49.68% were female, with an average age of 14.12years (SD =1.01). The questionnaire comprises 31 items measuring behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and social engagement using a 5-point Likert scale.
