Code and Data for "New Insights into Cross-Document Event Coreference"

This archive contains the code and data for the conference paper "New Insights into Cross-Document Event Coreference: Systematic Comparison and a Simplified Approach," published in the Proceedings of the 2020 Workshop on Narrative Understanding, Storylines, and Events (NUSE) held in conjunction with the 2020 ACL Conference. The root of the main archive contains a readme file which explains the archive contents. The Java code inside the archive can be imported directly into the Eclipse IDE as a project encapsulating which can be used to reproduce the results of the paper; the code compiles with Java 1.8. The dataset also contains two files needed to run the code: v3.9.1 of Stanford CoreNLP, and the Fasttext word vector binary for English. The main archive also contains the final camera ready copy of the paper for reference.
