RNA-seq analysis was performed to know the expression profiles of Lotus japonicus genes during nodule development and nitrogen fixation. Overall design: RNA samples were prepared from uninoculated roots and nodules (5, 7, and 10 days after rhizobium inoculation) of wild type (MG20-miyakojima) and Fix- mutant (apn1). Deep sequencing was performed using illumina Hiseq1000.
