An overview of author sex in sports and exercise medicine research on female only samples

An overview of the sex of all authors who published original research articles with a female only sample published in six major sports and exercise medicine journals over a seven-year period (2014-2020) were examined. A total of 2027 authors and 334 studies. The journals in question were the American Journal of Sports Medicine, the British Journal of Sports Medicine, the European Journal of Sports Science, Medicine & Science in Sport & Exercise, the Journal of Physiology, and the Journal of Sport Science & Medicine.本研究针对2014年至2020年这七年期间，发表于六大主流运动与运动医学期刊、仅以女性为受试者群体的原创研究论文的全部作者的性别分布情况展开概述分析。本次研究共涉及2027名作者与334项研究，所涵盖的期刊包括：《美国运动医学杂志》(American Journal of Sports Medicine)、《英国运动医学杂志》(British Journal of Sports Medicine)、《欧洲运动科学杂志》(European Journal of Sports Science)、《运动与锻炼医学与科学》(Medicine & Science in Sport & Exercise)、《生理学杂志》(Journal of Physiology)以及《运动科学与医学杂志》(Journal of Sport Science & Medicine)。
