Production of nickel in Canada by province 2022

In 2022, Ontario produced an estimated 71,277 metric tons of nickel. Newfoundland and Labrador also produced nearly 20,000 metric tons of nickel that year. The nickel production figures were withheld for some provinces, however Canada's total production volume of nickel amounted to a preliminary figure of 143,266 metric tons.Canada was the sixth-largest nickel producing country in the world as of 2021.
