This FAIRsharing record describes: MIxS - MIMARKS-SP (Minimum Information about a MARKer gene Sequence: specimen for marker gene sequences from cultured or voucher-identifiable specimens) is a checklist that is a part of the larger MIxS standard. MIxS, or the Minimum Information about any (X) Sequence, is a standard for describing the contextual information about the sampling and sequencing of any genomic sequence. Each checklist includes the required, recommended and optional metadata fields for a specific type of genomic sequence. This checklist concerns marker gene sequences from cultured or voucher-identifiable specimens.
