Distribution of Pharmacogenes Allele and Phenotype Frequencies in Brazilian Psychiatric Patients

This study shows the need to discuss the implementation of pharmacogenomics tests in the psychiatric clinical practice, especially in Brazil, country characterized by a large prevalence of different ethnic groups. In this way, pharmacogenetics would improve in both process of choice of psychotropic drug or dose selection.
