INSPIRE Distribution of bird species (H-J) in Germany - Occurrence

The INSPIRE Service Distribution of Bird Species (H-J) in Germany - Occurrence provides nationwide occurrence data sets in accordance with the provisions of the INSPIRE Directive Annex III topic. The occurrence data were compiled by the umbrella association of German avifaunists (DDA) and coordinated with the bird protection agencies and professional associations of the federal states. The occurrence data were provided in the 2019 national bird protection report under Article 12 of the EU Birds Directive. Data from the Atlas of German breeding bird species (Gedeon et al. 2014), data from the Internet portal www.ornitho.de as well as individual supplementary data from individual federal states. The data have been collected methodologically differently. The survey data are from the period 2005-2016. The service does not contain any information about sensitive species.
