Data related to the article Tuning the properties of the cobalt-zeolite nanocomposite catalyst by potassium: Switching between dehydration and dehydrogenation of ethanol. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcat.2022.02.006 The results of physicochemical characterization (XRD, XPS, Raman Spectroscopy, FTIR, TG/DSC, TPD) and catalytic activity in the ethanol steam reforming process (ESR) of the potassium doped catalysts. We aims to provide an in-detail insight into the effect of potassium modification of the cobalt-containing zeolite Y catalysts on their interaction with the ESR process reagents. Catalytic materials differing in the ways of the potassium modification, thus the speciation of potassium moieties (their nature and location), were compared.
