CLINICAL PERSPECTIVES ON THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF HYPERTENSION
收藏资源简介:
Hypertension is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions worldwide and a leading contributor to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. This study examines the underlying mechanisms, risk factors, and treatment strategies associated with hypertension. The research highlights the multifactorial nature of the disease, including genetic predisposition, lifestyle-related factors such as high sodium intake, obesity, physical inactivity, and environmental influences. Particular attention is given to the pathophysiological processes leading to target-organ damage, including the heart, brain, kidneys, and vascular system. The study also evaluates current diagnostic approaches and emphasizes the importance of accurate blood pressure measurement and early detection. Furthermore, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment methods are analyzed, with a focus on their effectiveness in reducing blood pressure and preventing complications. The findings suggest that a comprehensive, patient-centered approach is essential for successful management. Improving awareness, adherence to treatment, and implementation of preventive strategies can significantly reduce the global burden of hypertension.
