Parentage assignment in black solder fly using genotyping-by-sequencing

The aim of this project was to develop genetic markers informative for parentage assignment in a laboratory and a commercial colony of black solder fly. The list of SNPs identified in this study can be used to develop a low-density panel that can be used to implement pedigree-based selection or to manage the genetic diversity in black solder fly colonies.
