This series consists of a record of properties in which the City of Moorabbin (VA 656) has or has had a proprietary interest.The Local Government Act 1958 (Act No 6299) enabled municipal councils to purchase or lease land for the purpose of executing any of the works and undertakings for which the municipality was authorised to execute on behalf of the community.
