"The National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS) Develops indices of fire danger for wild land fire protection based on a number of weather and biological variables. One of the inputs to the NFDRS is the afternoon relative humidity (RH) for specific areas. Daily forecasts of relative humidity are required for various zones in a protected area.
