River Red Gum Tree Recruitment Data

These data were collected as part of the [River Red Gum Ecological Thinning Trial](https://datasets.seed.nsw.gov.au/dataset/river-red-gum-ecological-thinning). \r\n\r\nRiver red gum _(Eucalyptus camaldulensis)_ recruitment data were collected in three 20 m x 20 m subplots within each 9 ha plot, six times over seven years. Data were collected for three types of recruits, as described below:\r\n\r\nGerminants: _Eucalyptus camaldulensis_ individuals which have recently germinated from seed with cotyledons still present.\r\n\r\nSeedlings: _Eucalyptus camaldulensis_ individuals that germinated from seed that are less than 1.37 metres in height and no longer have cotyledons. \r\n\r\nSaplings: _Eucalyptus camaldulensis_ individuals that germinated from seed and are greater than 1.37 metres in height with a diameter at breast height of less than 10 cm.\r\n\r\nFurther information is provided in the reference guide for the dataset.\r\n
