The scROAD database visualizes predicted single-cell transcription factor (TF) occupancy and regulatory networks derived from epigenomic studies of neurodegenerative tauopathies (Pick's disease, Alzheimer's disease). It highlights disease-specific alterations, including a human-gained enhancer (HGE) linked to UBE3A, AD risk loci enriched in microglial enhancers, and cell-type-specific (neurons/glia) TF binding patterns, validated by CRISPR excision of a predicted enhancer.
