RNA-seq data from HSPCs were isolated from aged mice with/without CS treatment and compared to those from young mice, which revealed that the expression of 682 genes were decreased in aged HSPCs compared to young HSPCs. Among these genes, the expression of 72 genes was reversed following CS treatment. Additionally, there were 387 genes that were expressed at higher levels in aged HSPCs, of which CS treatment reversed 63 of the genes .
