CLINICAL FEATURES OF SJOGREN'S SYNDROME ASSOCIATED WITH VASCULITIS

This article presents the clinical course, diagnostic findings, and treatment process of a 29-year-old female patient with primary Sjögren’s syndrome. The patient’s complaints included dry mouth and eyes, multiple dental caries, joint pain, fatigue, purpuric skin rashes, and vaginal dryness — symptoms characteristic of this autoimmune disorder. Laboratory investigations revealed elevated inflammatory markers, positive rheumatoid factor, and the presence of hemorrhagic vasculitis. Due to insufficient response to standard therapy (prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine), the patient was initiated on biological treatment with Rituximab. This article analyzes the patient’s clinical response to therapy, potential complications, and follow-up dynamics.
