The study, which falls within the subject heading of 'parliamentary behaviour', examines the extent of breaches of party cohesion as regards voting on bills after the 3rd reading in the Danish Parliament (the Folketing). The main purpose of the study was to examine whether the party system is stable in this respect or whether the changes of the 1970s have also affected the field of politics in this way
