资源简介:
This dataset is part of a mixed-methods study titled “Development, Content Validation, and Clinical Feasibility Testing of RetroDas: A Novel Rehab Protocol for Older Adults.” The study aims to develop and evaluate a backward movement–based rehabilitation protocol designed to improve balance, mobility, and motor-cognitive integration in older adults (60 to 80 years).
The research was conducted in four phases: (I) protocol development based on literature and clinical principles, (II) expert validation using the Delphi method and Content Validity Index (CVI), and (III) a feasibility study. The present dataset corresponds to Phase IV, involving a two-group pre–post design with 24 participants undergoing a 4-week intervention (4 sessions/week) assessed at 3 time-points (Pre, mid and post).
The dataset includes demographic variables and outcome measures such as Timed Up and Go (TUG), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), 10-Meter Walk Test (10MWT), and cognitive-motor performance scores collected at baseline, mid-intervention, and post-intervention. Feasibility indicators such as adherence, session completion, and adverse events are also recorded.
This dataset supports the evaluation of the pilot testing, feasibility, safety, and preliminary effectiveness of the RetroDas protocol in geriatric rehabilitation research.
