The objective of this study was to evaluate degradation rates of perchlorate, chlorate, and nitrate at high high total dissolved solid levels (8%) using emulsified vegetable oil as the carbon source. Additionally, the impact of FBR sludge addition on perchlorate, chlorate, and nitrate degradation rates in the microcosms including actual soil and groundwater was studied. The microbiological investigation on FBR sludge and the microcosm after completion of contaminants degradation was conducted.
