Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors have become pivotal in shaping investment decisions worldwide, yet their influence within emerging markets like In-dia remains insufficiently examined. This study aims to explore the impact of ESG fac-tors on investment decisions among Indian investors, with a specific focus on how in-vestment horizon moderates this relationship. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional research design, data were collected from 370 Indian investors through structured questionnaires. Reliability analysis confirmed the internal consistency of the constructs, followed by correlation and multiple regression analyses to evaluate the direct effects of ESG factors on investment decisions. Furthermore, moderation analysis using the PROCESS macro revealed that investment horizon significantly influences the strength of these relationships. The findings indicate that all three ESG dimensions positively affect investment decisions, with Governance factors exerting the most substantial impact. Additionally, investment horizon moderates the ESG-investment relationship, particularly demonstrating that short-term investors place‎ greater emphasis on governance factors compared to their long-term counter-parts. These results provide valuable insights for investors, policymakers, and corporations aiming to enhance sustainable investment practices in India, thereby contributing to the broader understanding of ESG integration in emerging financial markets.
