Data from a Geophysical Survey at Great Baddow, Chelmsford, Essex, January 2023

This collection comprises geophysics data and images of processed magnetometer data from a geophysical survey of land at Great Baddow, Chelmsford, Essex. Work was undertaken by MOLA Northampton in January 2023. The survey identified a number of anomalies of possible archaeological interest, but these were generally weak or irregular in form and could only be distinguished tentatively from other anomalies of geological origin. Some recent features, including historic field boundaries and modern utilities and land drains, were also detected.
