Effects of the Exposure of Human Non-tumour Cells to Sera of Pancreatic Cancer Patients

After treatments with sera from pancreatic cancer patients, non-tumour HEK293T cells have undergone malignant transformation, increased the migration velocity and acquired a partial chemoresistance. Next generation sequencing showed that transformed HEK293T cells gained and lost several genomic regions, harbouring genes involved in many cancer-associated processes.
