Living in Harmony with Nature - Port Stephens Koala Corridor Restoration

This project will protect and enhance habitat vital to the survival of the koala population of Port Stephens. The work will consolidate existing koala corridors by connecting, improving and expanding critical priority habitat across the urban/rural interface. These corridors will link conservation areas and national parklands that have been divided by urban and rural development, safe guarding the genetic diversity and integrity of the local koala population and its connection to external populations.
