Photograph of the Saint Elmo Mine in Randsburg, ca.1897. Three men in hats sit on a pile of rocks in front of a wooden mining tower on the left where three more men stand in front and two men sit next to a ladder on the right side. An open, wooden shed stands just behind them on a hill of rocks and a stage coach can be seen on the right with six darkly-colored horses. The coach is covered with two men in suits sitting in the back while two men in hats sit in the front with the man on the left driving.
