National Army Dependents and Casualties Database

This is a dataset of Irish National Army casualties and dependents pension applications. The dataset only relates to National Army casualties in 1922, it is envisioned that version 2.0 will continue to 1924-5, as more archival records become available in future releases under the Military Service Pension Collection project at the Military Archives of Ireland. All the incomes collated in this dataset are listed in Irish pounds, shillings and pence and have not been indexed or adjusted for inflation. Therefore the sums collated refer to monetary values in 1923. This collection contains the dataset, a lookup table outlining all the primary and secondary records consulted and a metadata explainer file defining each column.
