The AIMe registry for artificial intelligence in biomedical research

The AIMe registry is a community-driven reporting platform for AI in biomedicine that the FeatureCloud team developed. It aims to enhance the accessibility, reproducibility, and usability of biomedical AI models and allows future revisions by the scientific community. AIMe stands for “artificial intelligence in biomedical research” and consists of a user-friendly web service, which guides authors of new AIs through the AIMe standard, a generic minimal information standard that allows reporting of any biomedical AI system. As such, the paper serves one of FeatureCloud’s main objectives, namely increasing transparency and thereby maximizing societal acceptance and patient trust. The AIMe registry for artificial intelligence in biomedical research consists of a user-friendly web service that guides authors of new AIs through the AIMe standard, a generic minimal information standard that allows reporting of any biomedical AI system. Once the AIMe standard has been reported, a database entry and an HTML report along with a unique AIMe identifier are created. The latter serves to keep the entry openly accessible and can be disseminated by the authors, for example by inclusion in a manuscript. The AIMe2021 standard is divided into five sections: Metadata, Purpose, Data, Method and Reproducibility providing YAML specification for download.
AIMe注册平台（AIMe registry）是由FeatureCloud团队开发的面向生物医学领域人工智能的社区驱动型报告平台。其核心目标为提升生物医学人工智能模型的可及性、可重复性与易用性，并支持科学界后续对其进行修订完善。 AIMe全称是"生物医学研究人工智能（artificial intelligence in biomedical research）"，该平台搭载一款操作便捷的网页服务，可引导新人工智能模型的作者遵循AIMe标准（AIMe standard）——这是一套通用的最小信息规范，可用于完整报告任意生物医学人工智能系统。本平台的建设契合FeatureCloud的核心目标之一，即提升行业透明度，进而最大化社会认可度与患者信任度。 当作者完成AIMe标准的内容填报后，系统将自动生成一条数据库条目、一份HTML报告，以及唯一的AIMe标识符。该标识符可保障数据库条目始终保持公开可访问状态，同时可供作者进行传播推广，例如将其纳入研究手稿中。 AIMe2021标准分为元数据（Metadata）、研究目标（Purpose）、数据集（Data）、方法学（Method）与可重复性（Reproducibility）五大板块，并提供可供下载的YAML规范（YAML specification）。
