InFor : Impact of Information about climate change in Forest

The purpose of this experiment was to study the decision-making of forest owners in the context of ambiguities. The experiment was computerized with the Laboratory of Experimental Economics of Strasbourg (LEES). It was conducted online in December 2023. The experiment was sent by email by the National Center of Private Forest Property to 850 private forest owners from Grand-Est region in the north eastern part of France. Seventy-nine of them fully completed the questionnaire, i.e., response rate of 9.3%. Brief description of the experimental design: The experiment is composed of three parts. In the first part, we elicit the preferences towards risk and ambiguity of the participants. The second part is dedicated to the forestry decision-making scenario, whereas the last one gathers socio-economic characteristics.
